Sabzevar, located in Razavi Khorasan Province of northeastern Iran, is a city rich in history and cultural heritage, serving as a vital center during the medieval Islamic period and the Safavid era.

Architecturally, it is marked by remnants of ancient structures such as the 14th-century Khosrogerd Minaret, showcasing exquisite brickwork, and numerous historical mosques with intricate tilework and calligraphy.

The city also features traditional bazaars with vaulted ceilings, narrow alleys, and caravanserais that harken back to its significance on the Silk Road. Modern Sabzevar combines its historical charm with contemporary urban development, including educational institutions like Hakim Sabzevari University, making it a blend of tradition and modernity in Iran's cultural landscape.

All of the stores fronted the garden which has been located in the middle of the site, which symbolizes the Iranian central courtyard and is representative of Iranian introverted architecture.
